Going Concern Business Brokerage

We were approached by our clients to assist them with selling their café and store business in Arthur’s Pass. The clients had talked to a number of the national real estate agencies specialising in business sales — but had more confidence we would achieve the required outcome for them and at a reasonable fee. The business posed some complexities as, whilst it was financially robust and extremely well managed, it was subject to a medium term lease which was not renewable. A new website and high quality information memorandum were developed to support the sale process — with additional detailed financial and operational information made available to prospective buyers following completion of a confidentiality agreement. The campaign generated strong enquiry and a sale was successfully concluded.
