Ricoh Head Office

Property Advisory & Project Marketing

Ricoh Head Office is the former Auckland headquarters for property and construction firm Mainzeal who were placed in receivership (and subsequently liquidation) in early 2013. Our involvement for the client was focused on initial financial modelling of the investment opportunity, acquisition of the property from PwC (Mainzeal receivers), design-development for a substantial building extension, consenting, marketing and procurement of a 10 year lease by international firm Ricoh of 3,000 sqm of refurbished and new A-grade office space. The investment feasibility and occupier lease structuring was complex given uncertainty regarding the future cost of two underlying ground leases.
